We are pleased to announce a new release of VolunteerMatters Components eStore. These updates while extremely helpful will not change the system's interface so there's no "training" required. We just want to make sure you know these features are now available to you. There is nothing you need to do to receive these improvements and they are all included, depending on your subscription.
These new VolunteerMatters Components eStore features include:
- Administrative order search now includes item and order date range as criteria
- Export orders as a flat item list
- Export all estore orders at a single time/spreadsheet
- Allow notifications per item
- Email notification to customer and administrator will include detailed order information
Administrative order search now includes item and order date range as criteria
Now there are also search options to narrow down or filter your orders by order number, customer name, customer email, item name, order date range, and/or order status.

Export orders as a flat item list
As an administrator with the “Site Shopping Manager” role, when you are managing orders you now have multiple “Export” buttons available to you to produce a CSV spreadsheet of your existing orders that are currently in your order list.
Once you have filtered your order list as desired and checked the orders you wish to export you can then select the export type (orders or order items) , and click "Export Selected" (
).
Previously on the "Orders" export was available. In this export each order will be one row in the spreadsheet with each order's contents appearing in a single "Items" cell.
With the new "Order Items" option, each order's items will be available in their own row in a single flat item list. So an order containing multiple items will appear across multiple rows in the spreadsheet. These items will be grouped together in the spreadsheet.

Export all estore orders at a single time/spreadsheet
Now along with the ability to export your orders in different ways (Orders or Order Items) you can also export all of your orders at one time instead of just the ones displayed on the page. For example, if your order list contains 200 completed orders and you have it set to show 10 orders at once and you click "Export All" () it will still include all 200 orders in the export.

Allow notifications per item
With this latest release you can now set administrative notifications per item in your eStore. In addition to your default notification email address, you can now enter a comma-separated list of email addresses when creating or editing an item, which will receive notifications when this item is included in a completed order. This is in addition to the default email address. If someone is set within multiple products and those products are all included in a single order they will only receive one notification, not one separate one for each product they have been configured for.

Email notification to customer and administrator will include detailed order information
With this release the order notification that is sent to both the customer and the administrator can now be customized with the order item information. The email will now contain a table showing all of the order's items.
